About

Background

ElevenAid is an educational website founded by Sarah, a qualified and highly experienced teacher and writer. After completing a BA honours in English Literature with Creative Writing, she went on to successfully gain a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education), which included Masters (MA) modules.

Sarah has taught primary and secondary aged children in a range of subjects. Her experience includes work in state and independent schools, as well as tuition [both in class and home settings]. Alongside this, Sarah has helped many children gain places at 7, 11 and 13+ in a variety of schools. These include: Woodford County Girl’s School, Queen Elizabeth’s School (Barnet), Bancroft’s, Forest, schools within the Essex Consortium, Kent and others. Prior to this, She ran a not-for-profit community creche, as well as managing a children’s holiday club.

Sarah has published her resources online, as well as writing, proofreading and editing resources for educational companies. Her approach to education is that fostering individual talents and learning styles in children can encourage them to thrive. Her keen interest in creativity and pedagogy is also embedded in her teaching practices and the resources she creates.
